Transcription of the document: The Burslem authorities get tough on firework and firearm abuse on Guy Fawkes' night, 1819 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fire-Works NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, THAT any Person or Persons making Bonfires, or letting off Squibs, Crackers, Guns, Pistols, or other Fire-Works, within the Town or Parish of Burslem, will be prosecuted with the utmost severity of the Law.
